The mechanism underlying pluripotency and self-renewal is governed at multiple levels, involving the transcriptional regulation, signal transduction and epigenetic regulation and so on. Transcription factors Oct4, Sox2 and Nanog play a critical role in this regulatory network and are critical for maintaining ES cell identity. In this review, we discuss the recent advances of these key regulators. These studies will facilitate the understanding of the mechanisms of self-renewal in ES cells and provide theoretical basis on its clinical application. 3 N7 I0 c4 p/ X( wKey words: ES cells; self-renewal; pluripotency; key transcription factors; Oct4; Sox2; Nanog作者: Rainnie 时间: 2010-1-12 14:25
