structure of its subject, a sea urchin embryo. This issue of Cell Stem
+ O* b& D' T" X/ `Cell presents four forums on emerging topics related to the ethical, social,
$ X# m, s- i, kand legal impacts of stem cell research. Just as a crystal ball connects the 2 {( p9 y' ~$ p1 O2 k6 s
present with the future, these forums analyze the impacts of current research
2 Z' Q' s2 h1 T# c& M4 F+ l- fand what they could mean for us all going forward. This issue's focus was put
0 D' r3 C- |$ ~3 Ftogether in close collaboration with Editorial Board member Chris Scott, to whom
