This will be the fifth time that the IPCC has delivered such an assessment;
7 b3 y/ h7 @! q; l! ]* y3 q' N6 }( |some 23 years have passed since the first effort. Many things7 b! g) T& q! l" b
have changed in that time; others have not. Regardless, it is time to7 B2 s2 [8 D3 k3 i" ?4 ^, v% |' a
rethink the IPCC. The organization deserves thanks and respect from( z; L& ^0 n. X2 H9 F: @+ p
all who care about the principle of evidence-based policy-making, but
/ I8 X8 b+ V8 \. j1 \7 ]. gthe current report should be its last mega-assessment.
