" [9 x3 m, j! x% f' @" SLong-standing HHS regulations for Protection of Human Subjects, 45 C.F.R. 46, Subpart A establish safeguards for individuals who are the sources of many human tissues used in research, including non-embryonic human adult stem cells and human induced pluripotent stem cells. When research involving human adult stem cells or induced pluripotent stem cells constitutes human subject research, Institutional Review Board review may be required and informed consent may need to be obtained per the requirements detailed in 45 C.F.R. 46, Subpart A. A. Research in which hESCs (even if derived from embryos donated in accordance with these Guidelines) or human induced pluripotent stem cells are introduced into non-human primate blastocysts.

现在,NIH人类干细胞研究指导原则已明令禁止政府资金支持人的诱导多能干细胞的研究,如果这些细胞是已知会发育成具有三原始胚层细胞和组织的话,特别是将人的诱导多能干细胞与非人的灵长类杂交或将人的诱导多能干细胞进入生殖细胞系。而会发育成具有三原始胚层细胞和组织是所有完全重编程好的诱导多能干细胞既iPS细胞的基本特征(另一基本特征是能形成畸胎瘤,而且还是恶性的畸胎瘤)。况且,诱导多能干细胞进入生殖细胞系已在低级动物中得到证明(有2007年《自然》论文为证那还有假?)。9 [; x7 q0 C# b# G9 k7 g9 V, q9 \
/ m' o7 i# Z' ~由此看来,不说诱导多能干细胞既iPS细胞会因它们的致癌性无法被克服(因它们本身就是被癌变了的干细胞)而无法进入临床(否则治死了人谁负担得起?),已知会发育成具有三原始胚层细胞和组织和进入生殖细胞系的iPS细胞还可能因违反规定而被断掉“皇粮”。而一旦没了“皇粮”,iPS细胞研究还能活多久?
