Abstract
( S* `# w @( k0 oThe research on cancer stem cells is a new hot
N! X; v6 N/ \8 D$ R% _spot in at present. The hypothesis indicates
/ K7 Y$ Q G, ^) X8 ]# P3 mcancer stem cells, which were possibly the origin
' S3 m2 E' X* i1 P. H/ m" k9 S/ Uof the cancer, come from normal stem cells. For
* K2 s" A6 u* n& g3 g3 Wtheir special characters, normal stem cells can
6 ], V# ]9 S% wdifferentiate into tumor cells more easily than: E3 G2 Z' A9 A+ ^
adult cells. Stem cells transform into malignant4 k2 _, a8 U0 b; y9 a' w
cancer stem cells possibly because of gene+ A. s: k k G
mutation, abnormal asymmetry and cell fusion.
& g. H2 S. I5 gIt is a main method to obtain cancer stem cells by
9 d$ W/ U7 X) B( _% g+ a* [% Iflow cytometer using different protein markers$ F8 f# i& m; P& Q
and fluorescent probes. It is demonstrated that# F2 | f$ F# T/ Y
cancer stem cells are very powerful in selfrenewal,
2 Z) }$ s7 d) b }3 d2 \proliferation, and differentiation.9 Y1 A! \, z1 v0 H7 H6 c8 C
Targeting on cancer stem cells, early diagnosis( j- K5 s' t+ g/ s: w( z2 j
for cancers might be achieved.
