germ line是生殖系的意思。系，你可以理解成一条绳索， 位于这条绳索上想细胞，都自始至终都沿着这条线走，举个简单的例子，pgc，原始生殖细胞，是所有生殖细胞的老祖宗，在迁移到生殖脊后就分化成性原细胞，然后在继续分化成性母细胞，这些性母细胞在继续分化最终成为成熟的配子，即精子或卵子，而从pgc开始到成熟的配子，这些细胞全部都属于生殖系的细胞，即germ line cell，而其中的性原细胞，就可以认为是干细胞，即germ line stem cell。（当然其实对germ line stem cell的定义不是这么简单的，我这里只是概况的说一说）
$ V1 |7 a# L$ T$ [" G+ y上面那句话，就很简单了：内细胞团的细胞是唯一一种有能力分化成一个个体所有细胞类型，包括生殖系细胞的细胞。听起来有些绕口，但意思很明白。这是一个关于全能性的描述，其实这个观点也不完全正确，ips现在也能发育成一个完整的个体。关于全能性和多能性的认识还需要逐步的加深。

) u- d2 J9 D; H5 r: }不能。虽然生殖细胞能够起始一个生命，但起始细胞这个概念不够科学，至少reproductive biology里没有这种描述。germ line就是生殖系。
