BIOLOGY

N2主要含5中成分，两种蛋白，即human transferrin, insulin recombinant full chain;
- m! w3 w' q2 W: f) i还有其他三种成分：progesterone, putrescine, selenite3 A6 s- y" e) P
N2 Supplement is a serum-free supplement for the growth and expression of post-mitotic neurons and tumor cells of neuronal phenotype.  N2 supplement is a chemically defined, 100X concentrate of Bottenstein's N2 formulation.  This supplement is recommended for the growth and expression of neuroblastomas and for the survival and expression of post-mitotic neurons in primary cultures from both the peripheral nervous system (PNS) and the central nervous system (CNS).  It can be used as a substitute for the N1 Bottenstein formulation.  N2 medium appears to be selective for neuronal cell lines and does not support the growth of nonneuronal cell lines

BIOLOGY

B-27® Supplement is an optimized serum-free supplement used to support the low or high density growth and short or long-term viability of hippocampal and other CNS neurons. B-27® B27 Supplement is provided as a 50X liquid and is intended to be used   Morewith Neurobasal® Medium or Neurobasal®-A Medium for neuronal cell culture without the need for an astrocyte feeder layer.. `- O! m; A* b7 T( Z

可以用于胚胎干细胞的培养，尤其是N2用的比较多一些，具体也要看你要养什么细胞

1 g( y" D# x' eESC要用invitrogen的KO-SR，分化时可以用B27
