Detected of Alu sequence in transplanted mouse lung RNA was performed by qPCR, using the flowing primers: GTCAGGAGATCGAGACCATCCC ( forward sequence ) and TCCTGCCTCAGCCTCCCAAG ( reverse primer ), Alu elements are specific to the human genome and are present at ~ 1 million copies/diploid sequence, making them a sensitive indicator of human cell content.
