Topics of interest include understanding the relationship of the effect of hypoxia, acute or chronic, on the function of ion channels involved in brain impairment seen in normal or patients with CNS diseases.

biophysics, biochemistry, or a related field. Previous experience in voltage clamp and current clamp with knowledge in central nervous system are required. Knowledge of iPS cell technology desirable.
