[. f+ H$ U$ o$ O+ Z. g- a

A team at Jeju National University led by Professor Park Se-pill and Mirae Biotech announced their success in developing a new technology that can allow for mass cloning of animals that have been dead for an extended period.

The cloning process consists of the ultra-rapid freezing of embryos created from a dead cow, followed by thawing and implanting them into the womb of another cow three years after they were frozen.

The cloned cow, which was delivered through natural birth, was born last October with the same genetic blueprint as the original dead cow, researchers said.

This time, we solved what had been the biggest obstacle,"said Park Se-pill.
