They might die, apoptosis, transform, senescence et al. It is a very heterogeneous population. Some cells started to reprogram, but they stopped at different stages. Some cells go to a stage to iPSC, then go back to somatic status. Only a very small percentage of cells ultimately become fully iPSC.
