7 T! l" V7 g% L; uDespite the dramatic benefits reported in early phase clinical trials, their functions remain poorly understood.
# S5 Q( ^* X# o! i8 ?, F9 cParticularly, several questions remain concerning the origin of mesenchymal stem cells and their relationship to other, [4 g. T% f1 \/ P
stromal cells such as fibroblasts. Whereas clear gene expression signatures are imprinted in stromal cells of different
