cells (alone and/or in combination), timing of delivery, and adjuncts to promote cell

cells and cell tracking is explored in several chapters.
1 u, C0 F" s7 {Even while compiling this monograph, the paradigms of how cell-based therapeutics
( w4 W+ @0 b- h) I8 G' H5 n2 ?9 Q5 naffect neurological injury have been changing. Mechanisms that seemed
+ i8 D5 z5 m+ areasonable and well-supported are being re-examined, and this necessarily drives
: v/ d7 t9 P7 L w6 Fthe movement toward various clinical trial plans. The earliest clinical trials are
- N J; Z d ?beginning, and as this monograph goes to press, Phase 2 studies in TBI and stroke

improvement in patients with severe injuries, and the work on these vexing problems
