: [' [7 [! ]! I1 l+ G编辑部选出的the strongest within each categories，应该是指各方向里研究质量最佳的文章。而要读者评的是这些文章在整个干细胞领域（the field）里最具影响力（the biggest impact）的一篇。 不同方向的佼佼者要放在一起比影响，除非有爆炸力不能服众。各方向本身在干细胞研究中所占的分量可能要起很大作用，流行的领域的文章自然绝对“影响力”大些。1 C6 n5 @0 y; F

' v! B8 H8 G3 f8 p, F7 ~与国内其它文章相比，裴端卿的文章胜在机制思路比较清晰，机制研究的技术含量比较丰富上。其实Nature以及其它杂志去年发表的iPSC文章有更吸引眼球的，仍多为诱导方法和手段的改良或突破，或全基因谱系的盲比（所谓无假说型力气活）。从一个侧面说明了iPSC研究的某种状态。机制的水太深了，方法手段的改进还有不少余地，诱导分化不新鲜，疾病模型的用处要靠大制药公司来最终认可。要从机制和手段结合上比较有新意的，还是丁盛的两篇半路iPS直接分化（去年做的今年发的）。, C/ F+ v- Y. B

7 X' G( O% M% v( C" ^2 CCell Stem Cell作为Cell的子刊，今年的影响系数估计还要大涨，但能否把大多数顶级干细胞研究文章从CNS争夺过来，恐怕不容易。上到一个台阶，从ISSCR的会刊真正成为干细胞领域的旗舰，今后两年很关键。今年选出的各领域的最强者，还不足以与发表在其它杂志上打平手。而且，估计在扩容与保持质量方面需要下功夫。干细胞这么热，怎么也得半月刊才够分量。这就不仅仅是文章质量的问题了。

iPSC前途不论，应该祝贺裴端卿组的成绩。: ?% d! ?4 ?% t

最近iPS领域的文章并无新意可言，iPS出现5年来，一阵阵热潮后，理论研究和应用研究鲜有亮点。裴端卿的研究固然让人眼前一亮，但冷静思考，不过是EMT和EMT移植到iPS，其机制在癌症转移和发育生物学已经被热烈讨论，裴端卿的研究并未涉及到机制层面，只是一种假说，其结果可能只是一种巧合，鲜有理论意义。丁盛之所以能如此华丽地发出重量级的关于转分化的文章，来源于对重编程过程的深入理解和灵活应用，Austin Smith 08年nature关于胚胎干细胞自我更新的ground state为后续的研究打开了一扇门，这才是应该推崇的。对重编程过程机制的研究还任重道远，诱导方式安全性值得期待，iPS应用层面的研究扑面而来，另外，不同遗传背景的品种甚至物种ES和iPS会不会随着认识的深入而出现，也值得关注。

ips的热度起码能持续，特别是今年几篇关于miRNA在ips方面的paper。既然开创了一个领域，好与坏不可能几年内能出现结果的，这不符合科研的逻辑。这也许是为什么诺奖一般在快要终老的时候才能获得。细胞内的调控网络忒过于复杂。提一个假设，ips最终证明不能在临床应用，那才是ips的出路。作为模型，可以研究：1，克隆动物，特别是体细胞克隆重构胚低的问题。2相应的癌症问题。--作为筛选治疗癌症药物的靶细胞。3,信号同通路，还有代谢通路，想mtor的研究。。。。。

cancer stem cells应该会随着研究的进行逐渐变得很热，但关键的问题还是要能够找到进一步纯化cancer stem cells 的方法，最好能够建系。
