5. 3D打印气管
8 f5 K& {! V( ^1 J, p' ?- J4 ?5 u( E近日，来自美国圣卢克罗斯福医院的一个由Daiz Bhora医生领导的科研团队就首次用3D打印技术制造出了能够用于移植的气管，并将很有可能在临床试验中取得成功。据悉，该3D打印气管是用生物材料制作的，而在打印过程中还使用了干细胞来帮助生长。
7 N3 W! p( Y7 R3 G; p! b虽然3D打印气管很可能会被成功应用，但是用3D打印技术制作的器官来全面代替传统捐献器官预计还需要很多年的时间才会实现。该科研团队制作的3D打印气管将被植入患者喉部下方，用于连接支气管。另外值得一提的是该团队用一款名为Fab@Home的3D打印机仅花费一个小时就完成了气管的制造，速度可谓非常之快，不过通过3D打印技术制造的气管是否会引起患者的排异反应目前还不得而知。; B+ P( j; F) o% w# W  d

I'm interested in this topic. But I'm not familiar in 3D printing technology. As what I know in limited, when printer split out the ink (materials) it needs high temperature to soft the ink and make it flexible. If this point is correct, how could they use cell as ink? No need to mention how many different types of cell in one organ? I have check the video on TED. The kidney looks like just a prototype comes with the shape and structure but have no any clues on the function. So…….Wish to see your final published article soon.

Thanks for your attention. The cells used for printing is  diluted in some buffer like CaCl2, whereas different cells are in different injectors. And there's one breakthrough in splitting cells with a pretty high accuracy via manipulating air pressure，of which the journal is available in the attachment.

/ @7 C( y( e7 B! h2 @Regarding the cell, some groups use spheroid as block in stead of single cell to print vessel. I believe that could save time on printing. However, how to eliminate the fibronectin or other ECM outside the spheroid is a problem. Also, how to print in some long or large cell types (likes neuron cell)? I may ask to many questions. No matter what, I will keep follow your topic and contribute some articles during the weekend. Have a good weekend.
