Theproductscouldbeavailableinthenextthreeyears,saidMartinMcGlynn,presidentandchiefexecutiveofficerofStemCellsInc.,ofPaloAlto,Calif.,whichisworkingtodevelopmedicaltreatmentsderivedfromadultstemcells.McGlynnwasexpectedtomakesimilarremarksatTechvest's4thAnnualHealthcareConference&ExpoinBostonWednesday.

McGlynnpredictedthefirstproductswouldbetreatmentsfordegenerativediseasesofthecentralnervoussystem,includingParkinson's,Alzheimer's,strokeandparalysis.
