可能是神经受损后，机体会产生过度的应激反应，产生过度的免疫调节机制，将受损的神经当做异物，从而使受损神经无法修复，而MSC一方面调节机体的免疫机制，一方面通过分泌促进神经修复的各类因子或直接取代受损细胞的方式，多种途径结合从而修复神经，这只是我个人的理解，抛砖引玉，希望专业人员解答，谢谢

Could you provide the information after this sentence? I think the author should mention something concerning the point. BTW, jxydiandian's comment might also play an key role to prevent immunoloical attacks after the nervous injury. But I son't know how to have a function on repair.

实际上干细胞对神经细胞的保护有两个方面，一个是immunomodulatory作用，因为大家知道细胞损伤，尤其是体内的神经细胞损伤很大程度是炎性损伤，inflammatory damage，而炎性损伤的上游往往是杀伤、辅助T细胞等通过过度的炎性因子实现，而干细胞的免疫调节作用可以减少th1增加TH2、treg等极化，故可减轻损伤；另一方面就是trophic 和tissue repair 的作用，比如营养性的旁分泌作用一些growth factor，对周围循环的改善VEGF等
